Brain Atlases

There are several great average brain atlases that give a good view of the commonalities in anatomy across people. However, often for displaying fMRI data it is useful to have a very clear image of a single individual's brain, where the gryi and sulci can be clearly seen. The files here are made from an average of 10 high resolution MP-RAGE scans of my head, resulting in a super crisp image ideal for data presentation. The atlas is registered to the MNI-152 standard atlas, and sampled at 1mm resolution. Two versions are available here, one in NIfTI format, the other in ANALYZE format. The ANALYZE package is zipped and comes with a .seg file for use with Dr. Krish Singh's excellent mri3dX program.
